Have I ever told you I cosplayed Edgeworth using a pink shirt and a few of tissues? My friend's sister wanted to go to ohayocon with us so she found a grape juice red skirt and blazer and a white button up shirt in her closet. Then she applied tissues. It was actually pretty impressive how fast she managed to transform into femworth

Hey I've been lurking a bit and I'd really like to audition for voice acting buuut two problems(?)
1.) I'm a massive n00b RE: voice acting. I've been wanting to get into it for ages but life was like "nah m8" so I may as well try now (especially as this forum has so many talented voice actors, gosh), but I also want to know that this isn't gonna make everybody be like "wtf who let this gremlin in and why does it keep asking me questions when I'm trying to do actual work."
2.) I'm so british that my voice imprints the smell of crumpets and scones and the images of golf and racist elderly relatives, and my american accent needs way more work if i ever want to make it convincing. Considering the English versions of the games are set in america, would you consider this a problem?

And it's your perogativre to audition; we don't have a lot of hands on deck and anybody who wants to audition is super freaking welcome to!! It could be a good chance to work on an american accent. Not to mention it's your job as an actor to try and determine how a character should be portrayed. That being said, you can portray a character any way you want to.

@ notacat!! i'm also british and struggle to do an american accent, but i don't think it'd be a disaster if you couldn't do an american accent, it's all about the quality of the voice, not the accent!! if you sing a character well but can't do an accent i think we'd rather have that than you being uncomfortable trying to do the accent which might impede the quality!!:)
