It just conveys stuff so perfectly! That's intense! I like how they contrast good and evil with the church chorale. Maybe Kristoph's song can be an inversion of the 2001 objection theme or something like that.

Oooh, I should be paying attention to this, since I do have the lofty plan of laying the foundations out for Kristoph's breakdown song x3 And I love annapantsu! She is awesome!

I don't know if this will help, but every time I think of Succession, I hear this song: youtu.be/UkkfI12kIK8 The beginning is the opening cutscene. Then, as the music picks up, the scenario is presented and court begins. The first two verses continue this way. Then, when the near staccato lines trade back and forth, they're reaching the climax of the first day (between Klavier and Apollo), each revealing a piece of information. The solo bit that comes after is when Vera is fainting. The trade offs after (if anyone is confused, feel free to ask) are the MASON system, leading to the buildup when the singers go crazy and the song changes key. That's Kristoph's testimony. The interrupting piece of melody is when Klavier interjects, realizing his brother's argument is flawed. And the rest is the Judge, Apollo, and Klavier teaming up to end the trial. Give it a listen. Anyone hear what I hear?

Let me try again: Everything before the scream is the opening cutscene. Two verses, two choruses is the first trial day. Miku's solo about the Endroll is Vera fainting. Directly after: MASON system. Key change: Kristoph's testimony. Miku's sudden interruption: Klavier calling Kris out. Everything after: Apollo, Klavier and Judge end trial. The piano version sounds better musically, but the cues/storyline are easier to understand in the original version.

The day someone makes a parody of our musical will be the day that I consider this project a success
