So I'm going to try to invert the objection theme for maybe a Kristoph song or an Edgey Nick song. (Ha see what I did there? Lowkey ships Narumitsu) What if you did that and we used it as, like, a motif in the background of the music? The inverted Apollo Objection theme, I mean. For Kristoph or the Dark Age in general? I've been looking a lot at Wicked the past couple days as a reference on how to do this. XD

okay i feel like i'm pushing the whole skype thing really way too hard, but the thing is, i don't know when to stop: It kinda seems like lawyer, lumos and I all wanna work on the song together so *wiggles eyebrows* but if not that's also fine Do you mean like a video chat? I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with that, yet, but maybe I'd be up for a voice chat!

But voice chat would probably help for songs.

There's a lot of great stuff here! Bravo!
It is a little hard to tell what's going on, though. Let me see if there's anything I can do!

I reworked the beginning a bit. I didn't rewrite the piece of script you had, but that would be kept. Attachments:

That is the only perfect response MadFox. XD
Also, I love that little thing with te Judge. He's such a goof. XD

Oh yeah! That reminds me, because I saw the word "tango" and was reminded. Going completely off topic, I started this small project which is basically Chicago's Cell Block Tango but with Ace Attorney villains instead. Hit me up if you're interested. So I've always seen Kristoph's dance style as more of an elegant waltz, rather than a passionate tango. Tango is super passionate and seductive and sexy, and although Kristoph is arguably seductive and sexy (I can feel the judging stares already), I feel waltz brings out a more delicate, refined tone that Kristoph's outer personality has. I have watched a lot dance to play music (Especially flamenco, gotta love that Symphonie Espagnole) and a lot of my characterization also ties in with how I think the character would dance. I gotchu guys. Don't worry. I can't help but agree there is a reason why Kristoph is my icon hereAnd yeah, I can see how waltz makes more sense for Kristoph x3

I reworked the beginning a bit. I didn't rewrite the piece of script you had, but that would be kept. That's neat! I really like it! I can just imagine Kristoph just being like, completely deadpan "Black." because he's so done with everyone. It keeps the humor of the original games, which is important!

Okay, so I tried taking advice into account and did a little revising... The beginning is courtesy of Madfox, of course.
Payne: (spoken) Mr, err… Witness, please state your name and occupation?
Kristoph: Is all of this farce really necessary, Your Honor? (Sung) These accusations are a bald-faced lie As bald as our victim, that poor guy!
Phoenix: Objection! How would you know that? The victim never took off his hat. The only time you could see it from his head Was when his hat fell off, ‘cause he was dead. (Spoken) Our witness either has X-ray vision or he was at the scene of the crime!
Judge: X-ray vision? Ooh! Witness, what color are my socks?
Kristoph: Black.
Judge: Trick question! I’m not wearing socks!
Apollo: ...I’m just gonna cross-examine him now if that’s okay.
Kristoph: Mr. Wright is right about one thing. (sung) Yes, it's true. I was there, at the murder scene I witnessed murder at the Bowl, I saw through the window, but I didn’t tell a soul. I was protecting my client, is that so obscene?
Payne: (spoken) Hold it! Are you admitting that Mr. Wright is the murderer? You're supposed to defend him!
Kristoph: I’m merely stating that there was no fourth person at the scene of the crime. The only reason that I’m the one under suspicion at all is because I assumed the cards were blue, not red. That alone does not a guilty man make. (sung) I ask the court to please regard What's the point of the murderer Discarding one small playing card?
Apollo: What would swapping a card achieve? Think, Justice, think! I think it’s time… (sung) for the ace up my sleeve, the ace up my sleeve (spoken) Take that! Look at the blood on this card! With this-
Phoenix: The killer would have to get rid of such decisive evidence.
Kristoph: Objection! Y-Your Honor! That card is a fake! You cannot possibly accept it into evidence!
Phoenix: (sung) Oh what tangled webs we weave, when we practice to deceive! (spoken) I find that funny. How can you be so sure, Kristoph? The only person who can know is one who swapped the cards. The true culprit. (sung) And, like that, this card creates a contradiction! At the scene, the victim has an impossible position!
Apollo: (spoken) Oh, I get it! (sung) The victim bleed on the cards on table! With his current position, he was unable! (spoken) He must have been facing the other way! And the murderer must have been in front of him… here!
Phoenix: (sung) Yes! Move the cupboard away! There’s a secret passageway! (spoken) And the cupboard would block the window our witness was supposedly looking through.
Kristoph: Nnk! Don’t expect me to play along with your game, Wright.
Phoenix: (sung) It’s only a game until someone gets killed. Oh what tangled webs we weave, when we practice to deceive.
Judge: (spoken) I can’t believe that this day has come. Mr. Wright is cleared of all suspicion. Mr. Gavin, I’m afraid I’ll have to issue a warrant for your arrest.
Payne: Objection! I didn’t even get to do any prosecuting!
Kristoph: Objection! This trial is a mockery! Will justice be done? I’m afraid I have to step in. The defendant’s prints are on the murder weapon. How can he be cleared of suspicion, With the case left in this condition?
Apollo: (thinking) It can’t both be true, what they say My mentor versus my hero… which am I to betray? But justice won’t leave until justice is done!
Phoenix: Kristoph: Apollo: A lawyer's’ duty is to find the truth All of this is just hearsay What do I do? And though I’m not an illustration He's trying to lead you astray Justice won't leave until justice is done! I believe in you. All of this is defamation I'll do what I must even though it's not fun! Don’t give into his temptation Can't you see through his temptation C'mon, Justice open your eyes! See the truth in this tangled web of lies! Apollo: (spoken) Hold it! Mr. Wright’s fingerprints are upside down because he picked the bottle up from the ground! And when you look inside the bottle, there’s the missing five of hearts! This bottle can’t have been the murder weapon, it must have been switched. Mr. Gavin...
Kristoph: After everything I’ve done for you? You would still turn against me?
Apollo: Argh! ...I can’t hide the truth. All the facts point to you. You... you must be the murderer, Mr. Gavin!
Phoenix: Ha. I like you, kid. (sung) Oh what tangled webs we weave, oh what tangled webs we weave… Unfortunately, I don't think I managed to shorten it very much... On the bright side, I did cut out most of the fluff and made it so it's more cohesive about what's going on, and, hopefully, more emotional as well. For the most part, my melody remains unchanged.

It looks good! Until we get a melody slapped on, it will be hard to edit. There are a lot of very short segments of song that will probably sound out of place, but I can't make that judgement without hearing the song.
I do think Kristoph needs to do a bit more grasping at straws. He doesn't seem like he's putting up much of a fight.

Melody is not so much my thing at all, so anyone who wants to totally and absolutely has my permission to go nuts, because please. We'll be able to tell about those segments when we've got the melody.
