So, loosely based around a snippet that Lawyerly suggested a while ago, I've started writing a melody/chords for an "I'll Be There" type song for Apollo and Trucy. Except, it's more of "PLEASE LET ME COOOOOOME" and "Go away Trucy because I'm mad at the world" kinda thing. It's where Apollo really starts to warm up to Trucy and will hopefully cover little bits of the beginning of the investigation, even if it needs to be out of order to accommodate other songs. (Like meeting Klavier and Ema). Style wise, it's pretty bouncy for Trucy's sections, but I'm thinking of having it switch a lot to a more legato style where Apollo jumps in to kinda reflect his disillusionment with everything, and then gradually have him become more energetic and eventually nearly match Trucy's style. There's also a shift in the notes/chords/whatever, but I don't think I'm changing key? I'm not very in depth in music theory. XD Anyway, I'll post a brief recording of it once I've got some more going on.

OK! I look forward to it! //stares intensely at the opening song which is currently in shambles of ruin.

I got more done! So, ignore all of the halting... I haven't gotten the playing part down yet. XD Also, this is just a rough sketch of what I'm hoping it will be. I'd love to recruit someone to write actual music parts following these chords at some point, maybe once the lyrics are written and the skeleton is finished. I imagine this starting out with a little musical introduction, and then Trucy starts with a "Hey, you can't go without me" and an insult to Apollo, who interjects in that strange, chordless part. (That needs to be fiddled with... I don't like that section right now, but I wanted to at least put something there.) Then Trucy effectively rolls her eyes jokingly and restates what she just said, and then finishes her thought with some compliment-y thing. Apollo interjects again -- "No, you can't come with me because you and your dad betrayed my trust by tricking me into using forged evidence in a trial" -- and Trucy responds, though in the same melody as the compliment. The next part is the chorus, I think, but I don't have any chords written except for the first two, because it parallels the chords in Apollo's interjections. ...That's an awful lot of analysis of two minutes of sketching. XD Enjoy!

... Cause we're Trucy and Polly (actually its Apollo) The world's greatest team Cause we're Trucy and Polly (again its Apollo) in our wildest dreams but with the skills of the pair of us it's all gonna be fine look at the two of us LA's resident partners in crime!
I found the second bit on my phone and I wanted to do something with it so there you go

I thought of this, and it's pretty short and bad, but it's an idea?
Trucy: I'll tidy bookshelves And clean the garage Not that we have one That would be bizarre And, when you're tired I'll play you Lamiroir She's a foreign singer That comes from afar
