Would it be accurate to say that Kristoph is a "court/trial elitist", as to say?

Would it be accurate to say that Kristoph is a "court/trial elitist", as to say? Given the fact that he was quick to shove Phoenix under the rug to try and save his own skin, I wouldn't say so.

Kristoph is definitely an elitist. When he breaks down in case 4, he's ranting and raving about commoners and mouth breathers, average people, taking control of the courts. Not just in courts but he sees himself as above everyone. His reactions to his plans getting foiled is like "how could people let you do this to ME?"
Kris is also a total priss. He only likes the best stuff, and he cares about his appearance a lot, which makes sense because he has to maintain his charade. And give him credit, he's pretty good at it. He manages to fool everyone; Apollo and Klavier (and maybe even Phoenix for a bit) for years on end.
He's a perfectionist and a completionist. During those seven years everyone says they felt like they were being watched and like Kristoph was doing all sorts of creepy stuff behind the scene. He's really manipulative, we see in the games, and he's really proud.
The thing that's really scary about Kristoph is how good he is. He's super careful and no matter what, you always seem to be playing by his terms (until you're not.) he's practically invincible, he covers every track and every move is thought out.
But the guy still has emotions and boy howdy when they come up. Since he's so proud, when he gets turned down by Zak he practically loses all control. It's ridiculous that his whole revenge scheme was just because one guy turned down his defense. When he sees Zak again he loses it again, and in that moment of rare anger, he kills the man without planning it out, and that's what gets him caught. Kristoph really could have got away with everything too if it wasn't for (those meddling kids) those rare impulsive moves where he didn't take time to think everything through.
Really, his own emotions were the only things holding him back.

Really, his own emotions were the only things holding him back. Definitely a different way to look at it! (And very persuasive, too.) I'll revise my argument: I don't think he's a COURT elitist. Obviously he wants to win. But he cares way more about himself than he does victory, which is different from the von Karmas. Kristoph is driven by a desire to be seen as better than everyone else and a fear of losing his reputation. (This is interesting because it's exactly what you would expect from a rock star prosecutor. I think it's important that Kristoph is probably referred to quite often as "Klavier's brother", and probably resents this quite a bit.) He does see himself on an entirely different plane than us mouth breathers. He was an only child until he was 8, which probably plays into this: his parents stopped focusing all of their attention on him after 8 years of their undivided attention. Cue paranoia.

Until today I didn't realize that Kristoph was older than Klavier, I thought they were identical twins like Iris and Dahlia RIP

I swear the only reason I know their age gap is because of a fanfic I wrote

Lol kinda guessed their respective ages by looking at their maturity in court. I mean, would a stereotypical older brother air guitar in court?

Lol kinda guessed their respective ages by looking at their maturity in court. I mean, would a stereotypical older brother air guitar in court? Would a stereotypical older brother paint his nails in prison? I'm always checking my court record profiles. Not because I actually check my court record before making decisions, but because I need to know the age gaps for all my ships before making decisions.

A forum I should use, but kind don't.

I always check the profiles in-game, just to check. You know? it's comforting.

The profiles page is so wonderful for me, given the fact that I'm horrible with names.
